Are there situations in your life where you would buy peace at any cost? What happens to the truth when you do so?

I'm pretty sure I'm at a weak moment right now, but I sure could use some peace right now.  i'm really tired of my parents fighting every day and night.  It probably doesnt' help that I've been trapped in this house for three and a half years.  If I were on my own, I could really care less if they fought every day!  I'd rather be oblivious of their ocursed yelling.  Seriously I have no idea what truth has to do with it right now...
