What might best be said of you: "Oh what he/she might have been" or "He/she made the best of his/her abilities"?

When he returned, he said to his father and mother, “I have seen a Philistine woman in Timnah; now get her for me as my wife.” 

~Judges 14:2

I think most poeple would say "She made the best of her abilities" when it comes to me.
