I don't think we should worry or feel sad that some prophecies haven't come to fruition, God knows what is all planned and we need to rely on that.

Gnosticisim showed itself in several ways: the belief that matter was evil, a desire for "super-spirituality", a tendency towards loose morals. How can we counter those same trends among Christians today?

By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

How does Daniel's view of history affect your perspective on world politics? How should a Christian regard the human "powers-at-be"?

Do the most powerful people you know recognize God's "higher power?" What could you do to help them see it?

the last group of people I knew that had power somewhere (or at least thought they did) do not recognize God's "higher power", I believe.  Quite frankly, since they were so mean and cruel, I don't know if there is anything I could do to help them.
