How does God get through to you? Does he use dramatic means like Jeremiah's or quieter methods?

Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.” But you have not paid attention or listened to me.

I would say that God uses quieter methods for me.

Jeremiah bought a field as a sign of his faith in the future of Isreal. By what "investments" can you demonstrate practical faith in God's kingdom?

“‘So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant;
    do not be dismayed, Israel,’
declares the Lord.
‘I will surely save you out of a distant place,
    your descendants from the land of their exile.
Jacob will again have peace and security,
    and no one will make him afraid.

People sometime say about Jesus, "I don't believe he was God, but he was a very fine man-like Gandhi or Buddha." What arguments does the author of Hebrews use to contradict this?

Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.
